There is a whole beautiful world out there outside of our Bitcoin echo chamber, it's not all zombies

We should want to attract artists and other content creators but instead we just cope and say it's fine with like 40 bitcoiners repeating mantras

And it basically doesn't work, most clients cannot find notes that aren't on the big relays, which is just Twitter all over again but with more steps and worse UX

100%. There are a ton of great people out there that probably agree with our principles yet are unaware of freedom tech, or simply is not top priority for them, or not the right moment.

Is my aunt a stupid zombie? I want to think she is not. She understands the principles and ONLY after being banned by Instagram she started to listen what I say about nostr.

I think as we are kind of a heuristic machines, we ignore the things or don't prepare for the things we assume won't happen. And for this, we use our life experience. So we will extrapolate and expect the same in the future that we had in the past. Therefore privacy and freedom tech does not play too big role in people hands who think they are free.
