If it were someone else I would not care, but Richard is one of those people that the world needs, Richard understood before anyone else the danger of closed software and the danger of state control and large corporations.

Surely without his work, we would have neither Linux nor Bitcoin, surely we would be decades behind in the evolution of free software and the world would be much worse than it is now.

Richard Stallman is a fundamental pillar of freedom, it doesn't matter if you don't agree with everything he does or says, he is a Titan.
