I’d agree with Bibi and Trump. I would have on Putin as well before digging into magnitsky affair and now not so sure. Has he had to make some nasty decisions? For sure. Has he been forced in many occasions… definitely. Are some of the things carried out evil and premeditated? Possibly but take a clear unprejudiced mind and compare to other leaders, whilst I would not want to be his enemy, I can’t help but think he’s way down the list of evil right now

Why are you afraid of Putin? Claiming UA should have never existed and it's all Russians is sick. These are Putins' own words. Pure nazi with this super-human Russian mentality.
btw. This narrative was the same in USSR.
Not afraid of him. Just wouldn’t want to be his enemy. He ain’t stupid! Do you have a link to where he said that? That’s quite different to what have heard from him. I’d certainly agree with ussr being an absolute abomination, all communist regimes are. As to the super human Russian thing, I was actually chatting to a friend yesterday. He was quite relieved having picked up his father who’d managed to get out of Iran and back home. They’re essentially British now having had to flee during the Iran / Iraq war. We were discussing current situation and I ended up saying regardless of anything, I find any group projecting violence or trying to convert people or whatever bullshit that impinges on other groups sovereignty simply due to a perceived racial or religious superiority complex abhorrent.
Why you pushing Ukraine stuff mate? I really couldn't give a rats ass about it to be honest. Borders change and oligarchs have fun as innocents die. The whole thing should just be stopped. If that means changing a few borders to keep bear boy and cokehead happy, so be it. I literally only mentioned that I wouldn't put Putin in the same camp as Bibi and Trump. I just don't think he's as much of an actual instigator of violence as Bibi and he's simply not as much of a monosyllabic grifter as Trump. I personally don't care. I'd like people to just stop killing everywhere because it seems somewhat against what most people on this planet actually want.
I will point out that the response article source is quite funny. I would steer clear of using articles published by the no. 1 dictator alma mater on the planet. Go with Kings college or some institution one can take a little more seriously. Whilst I get LSE somewhat look up at by some, they always struck me as a propaganda arm of Mi6.
I will push what I want to push you retarded degen.
If you don't like it you can go fuck yourself or unfilllow me and stop whining like a faggot you little Ukrainian Jewish bitch.
Am British sir. And not whining. Push what you like. Am trying to figure out why there’s such a tendency to start threads on a topic that then seems to swerve to team choosing, that is all. One must hope that bitcoin fixes this a little too. Have a great day!
Oh even worse a degwn limey. Men without penises. You guys fucked up the world world.
And then you cry and while like sissy boy faggots when someone rises and puts you and your faggot circle jerks in their place.
You dony produce anything except for homosexuality and and bad teeth.
Degenerate Anglo Saxon inbreds...
Wrong side of bed this morning? Maybe try a different coffee brand to put you in a better mood. Or maybe try tea
> If that means changing a few borders to keep bear boy and cokehead happy
You are very wrong here. Borders should never change without consent. Did you sleep over ww2 history lessons? Hitler bombed London heavily and it wasn't far until capitulation if the US hadn't intervene. The same is happening now. Belarus is already Russian - they don't even speak Belarus anymore. The war is in UA currently, then there will be Balts, next the Iron curtain countries (Slovakia, Czech, Poland), Fico, Orban, Vučić and Dodik are already Russian servants. The pro-Russian propaganda is very strong in the Balkans. We may quickly end up in a pan-European war between the West and the East, if Putin is not stopped in Ukraine.
Should a scenario arise that Russia were to take over Ukraine, you consider the chances high that they would then try to take that further. What do you consider to be the incentive?
What was the incentive for US sponsored presidential coup and ethnic cleansing in 2014 in eastern Ukraine?
Let's start there.
First of all thanks for mentioning boxwood. Looked it up. Been green fingered all my life and always loved gardening but mostly edible stuff and didn’t even know what that was! Good to learn something new even if so basic you feel really dumb.
My take on incentive for Ukraine colour revolution was massive increase in Nat gas production in USA from unconventional resource boom in conjunction with development and improvement of LNG technology. The highest cost market for Nat gas is Europe. The main constraints to making USA LNG a viable option is control or removal of Russian Nat gas (Ukraine pass through pipelines and nordstream) and the Qatari and Iranian Nat gas flowing from south pars through the planned pipeline through Syria. Interestingly it was only 2 weeks prior to the uprising there, that the Syrian govt had decided a pipeline route that was more in Iranian interest than Qatar. All random little events am sure.
I didn’t touch grass or boxwood but went for a walk on the beach followed by a little road though the jungle. Very grounding but there really are vast numbers of ants out right now. Have to walk rather fast to avoid them climbing up yer legs!
Should add question. What are your opinions on incentives?
Prior to world war 1 there was no such concept as Ukrainian. It was the border region of the Russian empire for centuries.
Long term projects by Czechs, Poles and Austrians, attempted to tear ethinic Russians away from their identity under Austrian occuption in the western border lands of the Russian empire.
Occupied Russian people were economically and socially coerced to identify as Ruthenians/Ruthenes/Rusyns/Rusnaks.
This was built on top of previous attempts at converting them religiously from Christian Orthodoxy to a new hybrid between that and catholicism called the Byzantine Church or Uniate Church. Slowly transforming the local population by means of language, ethnicity and religion into something artifificial.
After world war 1, Vladimir Lenin granted Ukraine an artificial identity. Its name became Ukraine meaning "Border Region". This identity was a member republic of the Soviet Union. At this time there was still no such thing as a codified Ukrainian language, nor is there one today, nor do a majority of Ukrainians even speak Ukrainian but rather Russian or various Russian dialects.
Stepan Bandera the notorious Nazi and Russophobe, funded by the CIA during ww2, rallied followers from Galicia (eastern Polish lands), to support Hitler and massacre Russians.
These nazi elements were not wiped at the end of ww2 completely by Stalin, and have been revived now under Peto Poroshenko and Volodomyr Zelensky.
from 2014 to 2018 14, 000 ethnic Russians, mostly women and children were brutally tortured and murdered by Azov Batalliion and other nazi armies in the Ukraine.
Putin was criticised heavily in Russia for waiting 8 years to intervene and protect Russians under ethnic cleansing attacks from Ukraine.
Here we are today. The Ukraine was granted independence by the Soviet Union based on NEUTRALITY and nuclear disarmament.
The deal for unifying Germany was "NOT ONE INCH EASTWARD" for NATO. NATO expansion into the Ukraine and statements from its president wanting to re-arm nuclearly and the ethnic genocide were the "incentives" (reasons) for the Russian invasion.
Thats one of the most concise historical summaries have seen written. So we can possibly align on there being multiple incentives which include ethinicity, historical context as well as resource control. Rather a mess and way too many innocents in the cross hairs. But simple, it is not
It oversimplifies and skips many important details.
I am glad you are open to receiving it.
Apologies for the earlier outbursts.
The current crisis in the middle east was messing with me, and the unintentional timing of your original response to my note was not ideal which caused me to read it with fog.
Dialogue and diplomacy are our only hope.
A gracious comment. I think thats happening to all of us a times and this weekend was fairly rough for many. I was keeping in touch with frazzled friend whose father was stuck in iran so I get it. I tend to consider outbursts online as possibly cathartic at times. Its for everyone to decide how to take them and maintain empathy. I hope current situation not affecting you or family negatively.
I am not Iranian nor do I have any family from there, however it profoundly affects me, more than conflicts that are more closely related to me for some reason.
Great choice of word to describe the outbursts.
In the moment, you want to inflict as much pain on those who do not sympathize or who question your outrage, but a few hours, days, weeks or even months or years later, you transcend that and grow.
Its almost as if one is burping to aid digestion...
The energies out there right now are affecting everyone in my opinion.
Some of us are just more receptive to those energies...
I got a bit wrapped up this weekend mostly cause injured back and so wasnt out so much. I therefore overlooked a simple rule have been trying to follow. I find any big sensational media flooding story that naturally illicits emotional response is worth trying to simply park for 3 days. It seems to pass the clickbait threshold requiment, and gets past the seeming guesswork that people are doing along the way. It seems to me, one gets a clearer picture of events and lower instinctive emotional reaction which is probably healthier. We are exposed to more information that we can really handle these days. Imagine someone in a major city only 100 years ago and how long news would take to reach them.
> What do you consider to be the incentive?
Because it's cheap enough for them to do so. Using salami technique they can simply take region by region and pick whichever historical interpretation they want for propaganda as nostr:nprofile1qqsdftfmdm407yl7pn9vsmfzjszf0x9w9cuh094d5klrr9je9etw9fcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsz9nhwden5te0dehhxarjv4kxjar9wvhx7un89up8r80y points out. And Nato either won't exist anymore or no one will trigger Article 5 for small countries like Latvia at that point.
I said incentive. You seem to imply conquest of land is incentive. As a European, I always found the conceit in Europe astonishing. There's literally no incentive for Russia to expand. No resources, old population, every single nation is essentially insolvent. I love Europe but I find people there seem to have trouble seeing reality at tines. In the past 20 years, the only thing innovated is regulation, censorship and increased methods of taxation. I fail to see any uncentive. Russia doesn't even have enough population to fully exploit their vast resources and maybe NATO is irrelevant and trying to look for enemies to maintain relevance. Every time I go back, all I see is stagnation. Its sad but if Europeans started recognising their enemy is in Brussels, there might be less violence.
Well i left this a while. Still no incentive. I do hope europeans wake up. Inciting war with russia, attacking usa bond market while allowing countries to be torn down by invasion by so called immigrants. Its such sad blindness by the population and costing lives and livelihoods. Meh
America cant even win in Iraq or Afghanistan after 20 years.
You expect flaming Macron and the EU Village People to take on Russia? You already lost the war...
Stick to the gay olympics you guys love to put on 😉
