My understanding is that the other's took a plea deal, and Keonne Rodriguez didn't. He was the one sentenced today, and the other's tomorrow.

Such a shitty fucking case. I wish I knew why it wasn't dropped when it obviously should have been. I imagine if they had been more quiet and didn't invite russian oligarchs to use their service they might have been treated better, but politics in our judicial system is a fucking mess and this is how it goes I suppose.
In my mind, it's simple. They don't want us to be sovereign. They want complete control.
They're all psychopaths.
I agree with that, but I think it's secondary to punishing people who had the appearance of supporting an identified enemy. The types that push these kinds of efforts think short term for political gain. Most federal prosecuters are in that job to springboard to higher levels of power. Mostly likely they don't give a shit about any of the privacy stuff, but they do care about "winning" a high profile case.
Yea, I am not disagreeing with you. You're more than likely right. Just stating what I believe it all boils down to.
Which is why I do censor myself, somewhat. Unless I get three fingers of bourbon in me. 🤣
