Hubs says salt & pepper only a la Aaron Franklin
Next time, you make the rub. Brown sugar, cayenne, garlic power, lil mustard powder, paprika. All the good things.
He does a rub like that on ribs but we prefer salt & pepper only on a great quality brisket.
