i got myself one of these last year. i used it on the lingual (inside) of my teeth about 3 months after my official dental cleaning. i used it once more about a week before my next appointment. super gently near the gumline, 5 mins tops

it's hilarious, the hygienist was joking about how she has nothing to do

i still think eliminating sugars and refined grains does the lion's share of the work though

I want to buy the tools that dentist use for general cleanings.

Does this help with the gum-tooth gap that they measure at cleanings? Mine are not great and i can never get in the routine of flossing but that’s their suggestion

it might, i think it mostly/usually is impacted by bacteria growth in there, so anything that disrupts their growth is a plus

diet also helps with that, bacteria feed on those starchy carbs
