What if a licence was guaranteed to be given at a low cost?

Monopolies would then struggle to suppress competition while creativity rights would be respected.

Indeed, the state grants monopolies to its client groups while retaining for itself a monopoly on crime.

This is a modern desise. A fiat problem exacerbated by calorie abundance and cientism. Humannity stopped thinking in terms of tradeoffs and is now applying a good/bad filter to all things.
