Good thing you have bentonite clay handy. Where does the average person get it?
Donβt say you have to order it online because waiting a week for an itch remedy to arrive is not an option.

While touching some grass this weekend, I got bit by fire ants (again) π.
These bites are really itchy. They blister and can take up to 2 weeks to heal.
I'm noting the treatment protocol again, with additional details for future reference and in case someone else may find it useful
1. Immediately soak in "as hot as you can stand" hot water. This is supposed to help draw out the venom.
2. Apply a paste of bentonite clay/water and wrap with gauze/wear a sock. (Turmeric also works to reduce itching, but the clay seemed longer lasting. Bentonite Clay is negatively charged which can attract and draw out the positive charged venom toxins). Repeat AM and PM until itching subsides.
3. Do not pop the blisters... Not sure why, but nostr:nprofile1qqs2x5zagu9c34d3yqkaem2n9kzxn4vejus99hkz4ysxzxvnefdqucqprpmhxue69uhkc6t8dp6xu6twvaex2mrp0yhxxmmdqythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnxd46zuamf0ghxy6t6qy8hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddaks8gd3kh advised against it... And it healed without scarring.

I bought this at a local co-op... Whole Foods Market also sells it...and yes... Amazon.
Bentonite Clay is good to have on hand.
I keep my holistic medicine chest stocked at all times full of oils and herbs, many are from India and online sources. π
