Why would a person oppose the reality of the creator of the universe becoming man, taking on all the evil that comes with free will, and solving the problem of death? Why would you not want that to be true?

Yep, it requires death to self/ego.

People want to be their own gods and worship themselves rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
