mitochondria (also present in almost all other organisms on the planet) have their own genome and are almost exclusively inherited maternally in humans. They have these little genomes that code for cytochromes a, b, c, e ... etc with different subunits - they absorb different visible light wavelengths in nanometers which correspond to color. Red is best :) although, there are benefits to the others - but at different times and! for different traits. Have fun with discovering!

Yes why the mother chain is so important for historical health purposes. I like to refer the mitochondria not just as light refineries but also as our little semiconductors.

The power of the early morning and evening spectrum produced by the sun helps set that circadian clock for us.

I’m of the opinion it’s more about light than food. Both important but light rules the day.

light makes food go up the chain - it's base layer. It creates what we refer to as "time". I love thinking about it.
