What turned you off about Jesus worshiping?

I guess I should have been better prepared for this question. I hesitate to say I dislike evangelical culture, because it is obviously a millenial cult uninterested in actually developing any lasting culture? There isn't a single thought leader or artist that evangelical Chriatianity has ever produced, and so they have to constantly refer to Christians outside their context (e.g. CS Lewis or Flannery O'Conner or any Renaissance thinker/artist). If God is the source of truth or beauty, why did he intend to manifest his kingdom among such an ugly, self-hating set of jerks singularly focused on making everyone else miserable?
I mean, honestly, even the Mormons present a better option, because they can at least effextively PRETEND to be happy.
So its the christians that turn you off? I have to agree with you. What if I told you they have no idea what Jesus actually said, and hypocrite would be raising them up in stature from where they are?
Not interested. I need ideas about religion on a fringe social media platform like I need another belly button.
