I just received a T&Cs update for my Apple Card. It includes this:

“We also placed a cap on your variable APR. Going forward, the variable APR on your account will not exceed 29.99% regardless of how much the Prime Rate increases.”

Fortunately, I don’t carry credit card debt. Most Americans do. When the consumer credit bubble pops, god help us.
