A good while ago, Apple denied new Damus versions until zaps were removed from notes. There is a slight roundabout way to activate it though: https://damuszap.oxtr.dev. This is a script made by nostr:npub1k92qsr95jcumkpu6dffurkvwwycwa2euvx4fthv78ru7gqqz0nrs2ngfwd that reactivates the zap button on notes.
Oh yeah forgot about the Apple Zap thing… Sorry…

You go on settings > wallet, then you turn off Primal wallet and can set NWC to interact with mutiny, alby, cashu.me or any other NWC compatible wallet.

If it helps, on iOS and Primal, I am zapping like this: go to the person’s profile ➡️ click on the QR code icon ➡️ select and copy the lightning address ➡️ go to my LN wallet and send Bitcoin manually.
I know it’s not ideal, and you can’t zap a specific post, but I add a little “hey, thanks for the post XY,” and it’s better than nothing, I guess. :)
I'm not an IOS user...is it really NOT possible to zap posts from IOS primal? That sucks
Not sure how things are right now, but I think on iOS you can't zap posts on any client, it’s against apple policy about payments in apps.
It might be possible to go around it using PWA.
