so what do linux nerds do when they need to run ms apps or adobe apps? do you just dual boot windows?

Why wouldn't you first give WINE a try with such apps?
tried wine few years ago there was lot of limitations
You can do anything in Linux based distros as long as you’re willing to put up with constant issues and live with the program only working 60% as well as it should.
Or you could just buy a Mac lol
lol yes was gonna buy a 2nd hand macbook but decided hackintosh was good enough the only thing not working is airdrop
I have dual boot linux and windows. 98% of times using linux while 2% with windows only for using Microsoft Office 😄
