Actually, a mixture of grateful and stupid. If i were smarter, I’d be a billionaire. So yeah I feel kinda dumb. But I also feel grateful to have left that rather poor time of life with excess that keeps growing today.

Don’t feel bad. You were part of the tiny fraction of humans that put any money in back then. There are 1000 times more that heard the same story as you in 2013 and dismissed bitcoin altogether.

If I knew then what I know now, I’d have a lot more bitcoin. But since I love my job, I have a lot more bitcoin than if I stopped working when I “could.”

But I assure you my children will know what I wish I knew back then.

I’m grateful for bitcoin, but it was laptop mining in 2010 that made me the most when I knew the least. I naively hoped I’d help some poor kid avoid getting their few hundred bucks stolen by helping this bitcoin thing take off.
