Someone in my area sent up a drone with a #Meshtastic node. It reached as far north as west point and as far south and Brooklyn. I found out there are a lot of people in my area outside of cell coverage with meshtastic. Iām just not quite able to connect. If we get three times as many people we would probably all connect.

If it's Brooklyn, New York, once you get 3x as many users, your gangsterment will probably try to ban or "regulate" #meshtastic out of use, because "tearists", "pedophiles", et cetera with the usual self-serving , Orwellian nonsense .š¤
Here in #Asia, that's what they did with amateur #radio and now with drones, in #Thailand, for example: to fly one, have to register it and get gangsterment permission every time, as I understood the rules from those who have drones.
They've made it the same as flying a real airplane.š”
With meshtastic, i bet worldwide they'll try to make it worse than operating an amateur radio station.
Then few will brother, and users will be 3x less again.
