Cashu protocol roadmap

- Lightning fee returns (NUT-08) on all clients and mints

- New token format with prefix

- DLEQ proofs for offline validation of tokens

- Token backup restore mechanism

With those, I think we'll have a pretty solid ecash protocol that can be used by anyone.

PSA: For those being *reckless*, even though restore functionality isn't built yet, it is still worth while to download a copy of your backup JSON for your Cashu wallet. In the event you lose your browser data, you can still use the information in that JSON file to repopulate the data in your browser's local storage.

This is the reckless way of making backups, nice!

I will dig more into it as soon as token backup works

It's really a great project to improve privacy on custodial wallet 👏

Are you guys going to be able accept and send on chain BTC?

Should we, would that be useful as of now? It's down far the roadmap but we'll get there.

As long as it’s on the road map! No need to do it quickly, just looking to have a convenient lightnight to on chain BTC e-cash system of payments. I don’t like having to manage enough liquid lightning sats and on chain sats separately based on what merchants are willing to accept.
