when you upload your content to centralized platforms they will go to someone else computer that, in case of public events, rebroadcasts it to a lot of other computers. You cant delete even on centralized platforms, see how wayback machine or any of your follower can save your content.
Here the difference is that every event is signed so is more difficult to oblivion contents with entropy (your twitter content could still exists online, but if more and more indexing start fucking up it becomes more difficult to find and associate the piece together. On nostr if you have the npub you can query the content, and if it still exists somewhere you have it).
Probably using different npubs and also burn ones that you dont feel confortable about is a great idea.
WoT is glorified, but who can trust a npub that shitposted a bit on nostr? For what purpose? Is something so valuable? Probably not.
Different for an influencoor that can work, monetize and influence with his singned messages.
In the end, there is the famous quote of the old man in his dead bed:
"I really would have been more online to cure my presence and WoT" -literally a psycho.
