To be clear, I wasn’t asking to make Bitcoin into Monero.
In my understanding there are really significant upgrades to privacy that would not affect our ability to audit the system. I’m not a dev so I may be wrong. Just learning from podcasts and discussions.
I haven’t heard of these upgrades. Do you mind sharing some of those ideas you heard about? The only thing I could think of is maybe having an optional coinjoin built into the base layer but I don’t have the technical knowledge to know if that’s even possible or practical.
