I would need at least a PhD for that. I have no plans to get a PhD at this time.

(But I don't know in the future.)

I guess in Japan, getting a master's degree is common.

Not so in India - so most masters students also undertake TA work and learn about academia.

My friend's experience in PhD has been that it's very dependent on the guide & field and struggled a lot - so I hope Denshiuma-san doesn't have to go through that PhD struggle

It varies from country to country🤔 In Japan, it seems that the "ポスドク問題" after obtaining a doctorate is more serious than the doctoral program itself.

After obtaining a PhD, there are no postings until they become associate professors or professors, and they have a hard time with low salaries.

Yes. In India too, after PhD very few jobs. Post-doc is necessary for teaching positions.

Salaries i'm not sure but it's a stable job (but positions are less)
