I don't know. Some blocks are [filled with this nonsense] (https://mempool.space/block/000000000000000000021c44911f4471fc26f9b37ca3d230c117a025eec7b7b7), are close to 4 MB in size, and only make $5,450 in fees. Just two blocks before [this block] (https://mempool.space/block/000000000000000000039d1cbdd3be99a995cf1c9ddba2ee477d33a96f8b6721) was produced with the size of only 1.9 MB and fees of $185,193. Are miners paid on the side for including ordinals? I don't get it.
I don’t think so, there can be some but in general they are just on the fee race pumping the mempool like never seen before
Maybe the government is printing some extra money to make sure the plebs can’t use Bitcoin onchain in a normal way so they won’t escape their dirty fiat money…
