Trump needs bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't need Trump. Besides, characters like him and Saylor just want to co-opt bitcoin as another electronically traded fund they can leverage and short. They want it to be a commodity, not a currency. If it's gonna really help the people it needs to be used by the people,for everyday transactions.
