Lol yeah, unless you're RENTING a node from a company like Voltage, your only costs to run your own are upfront for the small form factor PC/Raspberry Pi plus electricity.

Raspberry pi's in my experience very reliable. Mine still going strong 4+ years

Mine sucks, and randomly disconnects from wifi constantly. Bluetooth quit working too.

I have no wifi or Bluetooth on mine. Just straight cat5 running 24/7
