We have meat rabbits and so far have just been composting the furs, which seems like a waste. I don't quite have the bandwidth to start working with them yet, but that pickling solution question had been bugging me.

Now that you've resolved that for me, it's time to start saving the skins! Then I'll have several when I'm ready to tackle a new project.

Thank you! I think I came across this a while ago and probably blanched when I saw mention of "battery acid." (though honestly I have no idea what battery acid actually is). I've saved the link and your notes about sulphuric acid.
