yeah, unfortunately it's really hard for nostr devs to build and release anything for such a closed system. i really strongly suggest that you consider at least moving more of your nostr activity to your mac, i assume you have a mac. macOS is at least not closed up tighter than a 80 year old nun's so and so.

Yeah, mac it is. Yeah, I basically started looking into nostr just 2 days ago, for now checking the client apps, checking the timeline, will soon move into tech documentation, etc, etc, checking bitchat as well. I do see a crazy potential here, at least as of now. Need to see if there is a potential "bridge" between this tech and dumb world around, the so called adoption possibility, maybe, something, somewhere.

Is this a passage into new world?

Or another failed tech. Tech might be fkn brilliant on its own, but has to be deliverable.

So, a lot of questions as of now.

i rate it more impactful than LLMs. LLMs have been hyped so hard that they really can't get much higher and the lack of actual productivity improvements that the promoters of it have claimed still aren't eventuating. oh, a small improvement, for some people, who were already the most productive in their field. but aside from vibe coded web apps it's doing nothing but clogging teh internet with derivative, hallucination filled garbage that is absurd and incorrect.

That's a perfectly valid point, right. It all becomes one huge dumpster.

So another thing is at least cutting out bots, some sort of human / bot distinguish tech/ algo - prob based on human physical traits as obv neural net doesnt have those. Can it be implemented here? Another question. Sooner or later web2 social apps will die off under complete pollution from bots, restrictions, censoring and all that crap, - the old civilization has to collapse as it always does.

Is this an emerging new one here? Might be, might be.

i think so, yes

or at least, it is a bastion for people who are not accepting the programming. at least some of them.

recent events have revealed that more than a few of the more prominent figures are tangled up with some dirty business. people who i and most of my good nostr friends already were shunning. and more and more people are starting to run their own networks as well, and demonstrating the potential for authentic interaction.
