The other day I talked to a gamer on Discord who was deep into DeFi. I asked what they liked about it and the answer was “passive income.” They had heard of the Nostr but didn’t know much about it. I said, if passive income is what you’re after, why not just earn #zaps for shitposting? You don’t even have to buy some random scammy token to get started. Maybe there’s an angle here. Time will tell.

Idk. The mindset of I’m going to 1000x my couple dollars is hard to break through. High time preference is kind of a lifestyle. On the other hand there’s lots of honest people with very low time preference that are legitimately worried about money and looking for safety.
I have three main reasons to why I’m still stacking and not being much interested in exchange rate.
- The sats goes to my kids anyways
- The sats stack makes me somehow wanna learn about big topics in the world.
- have a good fiat job that keeps the family going.
I don’t live a place where the living standard is much of a problem. But I know that most places it is a struggle and that’s a problem.
You have the right mindset for sure. Being concerned with the fiat price is how they’re still trying to control us. Stack, hodl, chill. As long as people are still willing to accept worthless pieces of fiat paper in exchange for priceless #Bitcoin, It’s undervalued.
