Standing desk, move around a lot

Take breaks to go outside if weather permits it. Otherwise we have a small walking treadmill that hides away nicely under the couch when not in use.

do an hour of cardio get it all done at once

Go cut your grass

Walking pad, under desk treadmill. I don’t love it, but it works.

I pretty much have to be pacing around if I'm on a call.

Take walks, but in a video game. Like if you normally run, but have the option to walk, walk.

Horizon Zero Dawn is great for that. Very walkable.

By steps you mean hops… right?

Set aside a routine, outside ideally and get it done.

Do the exercise you’ll enjoy the most to help maintain the habit.

After my Human Resources go to bed I run for an hour or so.

High intensity exercise burns carbs and muscle for energy. Low intensity exercise like walking burns fat and carbs.

When you first wake up, your body is burning strictly fat for energy. Once you eat, that changes to carb burning. So walking first thing in the morning before breakfast is the best time. Also getting sunlight early on is a huge benefit. Don’t eat breakfast before your morning walk to stay motivated.

Walk to the shops, don't drive.

Meet up with friends, catch up over a walk.

Prayer walks.

Play Ingress.

Pick up running.
