I got this hive cleaned out and a nice sunburn. The local bees smelled the honey & were happy to help. I think I'm going to melt, filter, and pour my candle tomorrow evening, over a little fire. I need to rummage around & find some little stones and things to stick inside.

I am sure your wick is big enough to cover the mass of the rocks ( which displace the flammable wax) and reduce your burn surface.
There won't be a lot... just little hidden treasures
These will do 😊

Is that headless figure lead (Pb)? Might not want to put that in a candle?!
Don't lick it and it will be fine. Lead danger is really scare-monger tactics to avert your attention from the real sources of lead poisoning: lead additives in fuels.
Good to know, still amazes me people used to drink lead acetate in wine and cider because it would sweeten it 🤦♂️
I'm pretty sure it is but it'll be ok. I found it sticking out of the ground a couple years ago. It's probably less of an environmental hazard in my candle than there. Cool little thing. I forgot I had it. I think it's 100(ish) years old.
