Here's how to get all three safely across the river

Step 1: Take the monkey across the river, leaving the tiger and banana on the original side.

Step 2: Leave the monkey on the other side and go back across the river.

Step 3: Pick up the tiger and bring it across the river with you.

Step 4: Drop off the tiger on the original side and pick up the banana.

Step 5: Bring the banana across the river and leave it with the monkey.
