I haven't tried the older ones, but I know wow can run on SteamOS, I helped a friend set it up. It's likely the old ones will though.
Valve's work getting gaming to work on Linux is amazing. I've got over 200 games in my library and I think there are 2 that don't run on Linux.
I looked it up. They seem to run with some workarounds. Pretty cool. Is it powerful?
I've never really used a steam deck for more than a few minutes, I do have Steam running on a couple Linux PCs though.
FWIW Anytime you have a smaller package it will limit performance, but they sell a lot of them. If your looking for 4k ray-tracing uber-PC gaming probably not the best choice, but if the "Switch" form factor is appealing it's a good choice. Lots of manufacturers make them now too, there's choices.
