Introducing NOIRC.NET a nostr IRC server. It has a NickServ that is nostr identity aware, and you can register using your nip05/npub it will send you a code via Nostr native DMs (nip17/nip04). IRC freaks represent! Let's build the future using the best of the past.
It would be cool if auth was used instead of setting a password.

i.e. get a link to noirc.net/auth and you sign in with extension or nsec or bunker to sign the auth event to register your nick.
🤔 that would be nice yeah. i think DMs might reach more users tho for now (in theory). it does both kinds.
