I personally miss the Old Testament God, full of wrath and fury.
The New Testament is weak and forgiving.

The NT has plenty of wrath and fury, but hey don’t get the same press the OT stories get, lol. The problem is that we’re removed from them and have a hard time imagining how revolutionary they’d be if they happened today.
