White or black socks for daily/casual wear? Does outfit matter?
I go with black low cut (barely visible over shoe, but a lil bit) no matter the outfit.

I see. That's basically the only other option as far as I'm concerned. I went black years ago and hadn't rethought it since. Picking out a bunch of dog hair from a pair I'm about to wash had me second guessing
I reckon it depends on shoes colour...if you want socks to disappear, same colour of shoes. If you like contrast...go wild....😋😆🤗
Mostly like simplicity. Lots of the same socks, low cut, which leaves color or white or black as remaining factor. It's rare I even notice anyone's socks, but I think black often looks cooler than white
I like colourful socks...but that depends on outfit...as a whole. For man, black, yes.
White is often unacceptable in formal settings, so wearing black all the time is the way I go.
Black no show in the warmer months. No need to worry about the outfit. Longer black socks in the colder months. No need to worry about the outfit since you don’t see them 🤣
I’d go black over white for the cleaning. After a while the white ones don’t look so white, whereas the black ones keep looking black. Merino wool for the win. Very breathable
I also think white socks look dorkier, but yeah, it probably is mostly due to the staining
I guess they work if you’re wearing white sneakers with shorts (and you don’t skip leg day). But then you always have to worry about coordinating. Black no show you can use your mental bandwidth on something else
