If I say “between me and Donald trump we have over a billion dollars” that doesn’t strike you as a bit dishonest? I applaud the Wavlake team and I suspect at least 90% of the volume is due to them.

Fountain copied them by adding music to the mix. Not really debatable . Zooming out of the KYC discussion: Being closed source is a pretty big red flag. It speaks more to the founder’s mentality and feeds more into the point above. I have other data points from people around me about the founder of Fountain’s integrity so maybe be a bit more cautious in your advocacy for them Guy.

I love you guy but be honest did you Angel invest in Fountain or something? I’ll be able to find out the truth either way but transparency helps.

No I didn’t, and to suggest I’m being dishonest because I’ve invested in them is a pretty shitty move man.

You do your thing, but I’m out of this conversation. It’s just a good app.

Guy that type of motivated reasoning is all over the place in bitcoin podcasting. You even do shows with people that do stuff like that . You’re not responsible for their actions but don’t act like that’s such a crazy concept to question people’s support of certain projects. Half the podcasts these days exist only to promote VC projects.

To be clear I don’t really think it’s pure dishonesty, it’s usually just sunk costs and motivated reasoning.

I suspected you would never do something like that but I had to ask since you wrote me a seven paragraph thing about an app that’s pretty mediocre by a founder I don’t respect. Agree to disagree. Sorry I pissed you off it sincerely wasn’t my intention. I hope you have a great weekend praying for you 🙏
