Any Sci-Fi fanatic here that might know what movie i am looking for?

is there some one in here that is a scifi fan (like alien invasion movies etc.)? i am searching since around 2 month for a movie i once watched and i would like to watch it again, but i dont know the titel. I only know that the aliens can control the mind of people AND there was one scene on top of a building where the alien explained the humans where planted on earth to erase all threats for the aliens when they arrive. There where 2 aliens, a good one and a bad one. Absolutely no clue anymore what the movie name was.

More information on the movie:

- the alien discussing with the human on top of the building was a human in army style cloths

- humans try to attack the 2. alien (the bad one) he is on top of a high tower, on the way to that tower brain controlled humans with bombs attached jump on them to stop them

Before posting here a bounty i already used chatgpt, i did also go manual through the alien invasion list of movies on wikipedia and imdb. I am really searching for the movie since more than 2 months because i so want to watch it again :-) but so far i am clueless on what else i could search.

More information on the movie:

- The alien discussing with the army person about humanity, he looked humanoid, he had a black coat and the collar was very big and covered his mouth and nose.

from the effects i remember i would guess between 2005 - 2019 ....

unfortunately not :-( the effects in the movie have to be younger than 2005 . Before that those effects where not possible.
