Why are you meddling with lightning node when you can do other things? Best to run a node on voltage cloud.

ok. Understand. I’ve used umbrel before but not start9.
Both are similar options. I have used umbrel, and I'm planning to check out start9 soon. A huge advantage of bitcoin, lightning & Nostr is being able to host our own services. I hope we're see as much work towards that as we do services that centralize the infrastructure.

I have had good success with the embassy. It’s stable and pretty simple to set up.
Also if you joint the TSP MSB, you get a good discount. And on top of that if you use the fold card to get a start 9 gift card you can get some sats back.
I also switched from umbrel to start9. I had non stop problems with sync btc node. Now everything works great ;)⚡💪
Its the best system to run all your own hosted stuff. Way better than umbrel
