It's funny to review Sutherland's work with this OOP lens. During school, we never saw him as a particularly skilled software architect. It was all about his computer graphics skills and human-computer interaction. Maybe this is why Computer Graphics as a field struggled with the use of OOP when compared to other fields, like app development.
