Just finished afternoon roast with based connected TV Z-list neighbour. She's convinced those in the know are getting out of the UK rn. Another SA neighbour, connected with Arms Trade said he's leaving the country for the foreseeable too. Military personnel who can get out of the Forces are doing rn. Canary in the coal mine perhaps. They know something. She's currently prepping a homestead but in two minds about vacating the country and Europe entirely.
What to do?
I do not know. This is heavy on my mind as well. I’m a Canadian and I left because of the clown world show there. But being nomadic feels vulnerable in this global uncertainty. Feeling a pull to go back to Canada, hunker down, homestead, create a sanctuary from the chaos.
At the same time, the government there will only make things worse before they get any better. But having a solid place to weather the storm is attractive.
