If you claim you are racist and canβt look past your bias, they wonβt make you do it. Watched a man get out of jury duty like this once before lol
Given that I believe you shouldn't treat people differently based on race, I am already considered racist

What kind of case was it? Criminal or civil?
Criminal, 2 young lads who were living with their grandparents, hooked up with a couple of girls. When asked to leave at the end of the night, there was an altercation involving a stabbing and the theft of a bike.
I was voted chairman and had to explain to my fellow jurors that they couldnβt be found innocent because they had pleaded self defence to the stabbing charge.
Interesting, that finer point of law is confusing to a lot of people lol I have never been on a jury, once the attorneys find out I went to law school they move to remove me from the jury pool immediately π

Unless the letter was certified (need signature) there's no way for them to legally prove you received it lol
