What kind of case was it? Criminal or civil?
Criminal, 2 young lads who were living with their grandparents, hooked up with a couple of girls. When asked to leave at the end of the night, there was an altercation involving a stabbing and the theft of a bike.
I was voted chairman and had to explain to my fellow jurors that they couldn’t be found innocent because they had pleaded self defence to the stabbing charge.
Interesting, that finer point of law is confusing to a lot of people lol I have never been on a jury, once the attorneys find out I went to law school they move to remove me from the jury pool immediately 😂
