i imagine it as a sort of courtesy feature: all it'd do is collapse by default the non-significant diffs in the edit list. also if notifications are involved, recipients' clients would have option to omit non-significant ones - or not omit 'em if they're watching out for someone not to cheat them on the edits.

hopefully that way abuse would be self-defeating. (guess that's a good criteria for scoping any particular social feature?) like one can already write "isis beheading" as the alt text of a cute cat pic, or vice versa, but would that actually accomplish anything - besides reveal the poster as a bad-faith actor? beats me
