Nostr Web Client

I set up my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm account and now have it as a browser extension. My Alby lightning address (reidwalley@getalby.com) is also connected to my #Nostr profile in the Bitcoin Lightning Tips field. (Damus client).

I thought for sure this would allow me to ZAP people on Nostr but I don’t see how when I visit anyone’s Note.

I also have an Alby LNURL address, but don’t know what to do with it. Maybe the LNURL address is supposed to go in my profile’s Bitcoin Lightning Tips field, instead of my reidwalley@getalby.com Alby lightning address?

Or maybe I can’t ZAP peeps on nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955?

Hmm, what am I missing?

I don't use damus cuz I don't have an iPhone but I believe that Apple forced the removal of zaps in damus in order for it to remain in the app store because they couldn't get a cut. But there are work arounds. Zapplepay.com is one. I think there is at least one other work around but I forget what it's called

The other is turning zaps on using this site. It makes the lightning zap button reappear in Damus. You can go back to that page anytime after to remove the button. https://nostrscript.suhailsaqan.com

Went to that site, clicked the “ON” button, but no lightning ZAP button appears on any Notes that I can click on to leave sats. Thanks for trying to help, tho. Appreciate it.

So much to say here lol. Short story, I’ll defer to nostr:npub1k92qsr95jcumkpu6dffurkvwwycwa2euvx4fthv78ru7gqqz0nrs2ngfwd and nostr:npub1vp8fdcyejd4pqjyrjk9sgz68vuhq7pyvnzk8j0ehlljvwgp8n6eqsrnpsw for options here on zapping notes for now… you can zap profiles as well

I also tried pasting in the alpha-code at the end of the Damus TestFlight link URL you sent (CLwjLxWl) but that didn’t get me past the “Redeem” page for TestFlight.

Maybe the TestFlight is full and won’t let me in.

Installed Testflght version of Damus.

Still can’t get a Lightning ⚡️ zap icon to display on peep’s Notes so I can Zap them on Damus. And the ⚡️that shows up under the sunrise photograph doesn’t let me click it.
