For independent artists, Bitcoin + nostr offers a brighter potential future. Bullish on startups like Wavlake, for this reason. For those locked into the legacy music business by way of exploitative record label contracts, there’s little that can be done, sadly.

I'd really like to see it as a distributed publication platform. User ownership like physical books but epubs on blockchain.
