I'm turning 40 this week. (Yay!) And as a millenial who witnessed the birth of the Internet and all the social media Apps...

Nostr is nostalgic to the *very* essence of the best parts of the Internet: Napster P2P file sharing, ICQ P2P chat, IRC file sharing, Torrents, MySpace music sharing, etc.

Something about this feels like stepping back to 2000 with one foot, but also into the future of say 2050 with the other.

So rad. All of this.

Don’t forget American On Line Instant Messenger. Or as we kids called it AIM! I never appreciated just what we were doing by messaging kids from around the world at that time. It’s like what we’re doing now.
