I just updated the Spreadsheets Draft NIP to support sharing encrypted spreadsheets with a group of pubkeys in both: read-only and read/write mode.

Now you can assemble a:

- Public View spreadsheet

- Encrypted Spreadsheet just for yourself.

- Encrypted Spreadsheet that only a few people can see.

- Encrypted Spreadsheet that a group of people can edit.

Sheetstr has not been updated yet, but I think this adds parity with all Google Spreadsheet's collab features.

I wonder what kind of third party data feeds could be tapped through Sheetstr functions. If you make it easy enough, you'll have most people who use Google jumping to the alternative.

Stock data!

Great

This is awesome, helps me update the forms nip draft actually, thank you! ❤️

Would it work for forms as well?

Aspects like sharing (editably) work for forms as well

Let me know if you find any flaws on it.

Does this work like wikifreedia where I could make a public sheet and anyone could fork it and request to merge it with the orginal? If not, could it? I think mass collaboration would be awesome . Like a spreadsheet of nostr client list and the nips they support. Not just one or a few people but anyone could maintain the list.

It's more like you give the password of the spreadsheet to editors so that they can change without your approval. There is no fork and merge at this point.
