Why did someone think having fake wizards and CrApT0 InfLueNcOors was a good idea?

I even heard a guy who’s willing to pay 5% to let his coins on a bank. Even tradfi on its worst day has -0.1% on deposits, -5% is like.. how much did that guy pay to be there and say such silly things?
