Yes I’m a bitcoin maxi. We don’t need tail emissions, we could have 1 bitcoin left in the supply and it would work just as well as it does now

I agree, but will Monero have a place if BTC L2 can provide the same benefits? How does one buy Monero without a debit card or BTC?

I think it might still have a place. Having privacy at layer 1 is less onboarding friction imo
