Yes, and keep a skeptical posture re:[all humans seeking political power].
It’s a reaction to the previous government’s ties to China. I’d rather he declared Argentina as a neutral country, but he aligns very closely with the US and Israel. He’s still as close as we can reasonably get to having a true libertarian politician in power. I’m all for skepticism of course, but no defeatism. I’ll take what I can get and criticise what I disagree with.
We also have to understand the situation Argentina is in. The absolute priority is avoiding hyperinflation, I doubt he’s gonna be shipping anything to Ukraine.
These people are not going to save you. At most they will distract you for months or years while they continue the agenda.
The left/right politician currently in power is not the real problem, it's a fake dichotomy meant to make people think their vote translates into actuall statecraft.
I have no skin in Argentina's future.
I don't intend to.
I treat their trajectory in the same way i treat El Salvador's. Observational interest with a healthy dose of skepticism.
I wish the people of both Nations the best of luck in navigating a path back to prosperity. It's no easy journey & every human will benefit from their successes & lessons.
