I believe #nostr will be one of the last battlefields for free speech. People just don’t know it yet.
It will be the last place to post our thoughts, and to let our ideas fight and die, so that our sons and daughters don’t have to.

yep. I mean, the powers that be, if they knew about nostr now they'd be losing their shit. Just like bitcoin and everything else they are late to the game, but when time comes they will attack this protocol same as bitcoin. They'll set up their own relays, try to grab everyone's IP and god knows what else .. but they will do everything they can to monitor nostr - maybe even try some false flag stuff. I wouldn't count anything out.
I agree. It’s just a matter of time. At this point, it’s too small and fringe to care about. To me, this is a gift to the builders who can prepare and fortify the defences.
Free speech can also be protected by blockchains directly. There is a protocol called "memberapp" that connects Nostr and chain inscriptions.
