Crazy world we live in where censorship on the internet has become so normalised now.
Another day I see stories of average people being censored.
Even I find myself becoming numb to it now.
This is why I am obsessed with the #nostr ideal.

Authorities like to think the internet is under their full control.
Can't wait until they're totally against it because of the following (pick one, or two):
- Terrorism
- Drugs
- Piracy
- Unlawful transfers of funds AKA money laundering
- Dis/misinformation
Normalization is the name of the game. It's what they're counting on.
Stay strong, fight with every fibre of your being, be creative, and make allies.
Thanks for the zap and reminder.
What we don't always realize is, the censorship we see is just the tip of the iceberg. How many people are holding back from sharing their true thoughts and feelings, self-censoring, because of personal risks? I barely post anything except the mildest of takes on the bird app because my account is not anonymous and that risk of, say an employer, finding my account and firing me for wrongthink, is always there in the back of my mind.
